Secret Falls

A moderate 1.8-mile hike on Winding Stairs Trail and a short distance off the trail brings you to Secret Falls. Follow the directions to Cheohee Falls, but continue along the trail until after the fifth switchback and make a right turn onto the Secret Falls Trail. The waterfall flows down a hillside in several tiers, ending in a deep pool.

Directions: N of Walhalla on Hwy. 28; at Hwy. 107, bear right for 8.7 miles; park on right. Follow the Winding Stairs Trail.
